Check out the latest patch notes for Ghost Recon Breakpoint title update 3.10.

The first event of Ghost Recon Breakpoint 2021 will come later this week. In order to launch the Amber Sky operation, the developers have announced the latest patch notes for the title update 3.10.

The patch notes were initially detailed on the Ubisoft website, breaking down all the changes that players can see in the base game during Operation Amber Sky and after the event. The list of changes is long, so let's go straight in.

The update will be approximately 20GB on all platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Operation Amber Sky will bring new limited-time content starting on January 21 and will end on February 1.

The event will bring nine new tasks:

The introduction of five toxic gas areas and seven new breakthrough points will provide new player methods.

These rewards are exclusive for a limited time and will be available in Maria's store two weeks after the live event ends.

This update will also bring a large number of previous live event items from the Terminator and Resistance events back to the store, so be sure to check the full patch notes for more information on these. Once Operation Amber starts on January 21, we will have extensive coverage of it, and you can find all of this on our Ghost Recon Breakpoint page.

I have been thinking about buying this, now can I say that the teammate AI is fully functional? Someone said that it reminded them of MMO a few days ago. Does anyone else have this impression? I like Wildlands, and I really don't like MMO...so I'm not sure if I should give it a try.

This is the same as they used in Wildlands and The Division. I think games are more dependent on having partners than Wildlands. Single player is possible, but you really have to make more use of the game haha. Never played AI update. With my wasteland crew. Both games were great.

I really can't play multiplayer games (the schedule is unstable), but the original version is great for AI teammates. I didn't buy this at launch because they didn't support teammates in the beginning. \ If the MMO is just farming specific types of resources to get unlocked, just like the first game, I can accept it.

They basically added a Hub element, just like the one from Division.

The AI teammates are not great, and they are not as helpful as they are in Wildlands. Gear Score is still weird, and non-Gear Score gameplay is also a bit weird. There will definitely be some fun, but yes, it is reminiscent of MMO in some ways, such as looting and constantly resetting enemy positions.

That's too bad, I think I will postpone it temporarily. I believe it will be on sale at some point, and then I will pick it up.

As Wax points out below, if you want to try it yourself and see how it meets your expectations, there will be a free weekend on January 21. This is not the worst game ever. If you like the latest Ghost Recon content, it will definitely bring some fun.

I played it before the AI teammates appeared, so I can't comment on these. But to be honest, I prefer breakpoints to wilderness, because I don't like AI teammates haha. Anyway, I think it is a good game. They have recently added a lot of customization options to change the way the game is played. Many people hate the gear scoring mechanism in the release version, so they added the option to remove this option and play like Wildlands. Options to change HUD, difficulty, enemy level zoom... tons of things. Compared to most open-world style games, the comparison of MMOs is not really relevant to this game. Yes, there is a central area where you can see other players and team up with them, but other than that, this is exactly what you would expect from such a game. Obviously there is a free weekend from the 21st to the 25th. Probably the best time to check it!

I am replaying Wildlands now, and my teammates are very interesting, although a bit ridiculous. I like being able to plan an attack (kind of) by letting my people kill some people and relocate them. When it works, it will be fun. It's kind of stupid when you see your 3 guys running in the middle of the road or somewhere else, right next to a patrolling enemy, and they haven't been spotted.
